Incredibly delicious oven-baked turkey wings coated in a mouth-watering home-made dry rub that can make an excellent choice for any holiday, a meal option or a dinner party

Directions

Step 1
  • If using whole wings, separate the drummette from the wingette then pat dry with a paper towel.

Place wings in a medium size bowl

Step 3

Add seasonings to the bowl and mix well then cover with saran wrap and marinate for at least 30 min up to 24 hours.

Once ready, line a tray with parchment paper/foil then place the rack on top of the paper. Lay the chicken on the rack then bake it in the countertop oven fryer at 375 degrees. You can also use the regular oven at the same temperature.

Step 5

Bake for 45 min. Remove then flip the wings and turn the oven up to 400 degrees for extra crispiness for another 15 min. Keep an eye on it so it does not get burnt. Serve and enjoy!

Note's

Tips

  • After marinating, these can be frozen in a ziplock bag. When ready to cook, you can thaw it in the fridge overnight. 

 

What to serve with these turkey wings

  • There are so many side dishes that go with these delicious wings. Some of my favourites are cauliflower salad, caesar salad, and vegetable salad or if I feel like going all out I’ll go for creamy fluffy mashed potatoes, fries, potato salad and a side of vegetables

 

How to reheat

  • Reheat the turkey in the oven to 300 degrees for 10-15 minutes
