Quick & Easy Asparagus Recipe

Easy, crunchy asparagus recipe that pairs well with a lot of dishes.

  • 1 bunch medium asparagus
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Prepare the asparagus by rinsing well then breaking and discarding the tough bottom. cut each piece into 2 inch
  • Fill a medium/large saucepan halfway with lightly salted water and bring to boil
  • Add the asparagus to the water and boil for 1 minute
  • Drain in a colander
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter, sprinkle the salt and pepper in the skillet then add the blanched asparagus. Coat with butter then add the lemon zest. Serve and enjoy
