To prepare this dish, you will need;
Ingredients
- 1 small head of cabbage shredded
- 3 medium carrots peeled and sliced
- 3 medium russet potatoes peeled and cut into cubes
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion roughly chopped
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp salt or to taste
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat
- Add the potatoes and shallow fry until golden
- Add the garlic, ginger, onions and carrots and saute. Add salt and continue to saute for about 5 minutes
- Add butter to the skillet, followed by paprika, red pepper flakes, and turmeric and stir to mix.
- Add the shredded cabbage and turn the heat to low-medium. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes stirring in between
- Remove once it softens
- Serve, sprinkle with parsley and enjoy!
