Easy Juicy Chicken Shawarma

Share it

Chicken shawarma is a delicious Middle Eastern dish that has gained popularity worldwide. The dish consists of marinated chicken that is grilled and then served on pita bread with various condiments and toppings or with a side of rice.

Traditionally, this dish is cooked on a spit over an open flame but thankfully an oven will do just fine. The dish was originally made with lamb, but chicken became a popular alternative due to its lower cost and milder taste. Today, chicken shawarma is enjoyed worldwide, and it has become a staple in many homes across the globe. After several trials and errors, I have adjusted/incorporated some spices to my liking so it may not sound like your traditional shawarma, but it does taste great.  To make this dish, you will need
