Easy Ground Beef Pasta

Ground beef pasta is a classic dish that is perfect for any occasion. Whether you are cooking for a large family or just for yourself, this recipe will satisfy your cravings.  – 1 lb ground beef
– 6 breakfast sausages or any kind of sausage (chopped/minced)
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1 onion, chopped
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups 4 cheese marinara or crushed tomatoes
– 1/2 teaspoon italiano
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 3/4 lb srotini pasta
– 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1/2 cup ketchup (I use Heinz no sugar)
– 1/2 tsp sugar/sweetener
– 1 cup chicken broth
– Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, cook the sausages until browned, and set aside.
3. In the same pan, add ground beef and cook over medium heat until browned. Use a wooden spoon to break up any large pieces of beef.
4. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
5. Add the Worcestershire sauce followed by marinara sauce and stir well to combine.
6. Add the rest of the ingredients. Stir well to combine.
7. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
8. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta with the sauce. Turn heat to the lowest setting, cover for 5 minutes
7. Serve the ground beef pasta hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese (if using).
