  • 3 cups ground turkey or beef
  • 2 tsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger minced
  • 3/4 medium onion chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • 3 stalks celery chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cup tomatoes diced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tbsp chicken broth powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne optional
  • 1 cup cooked rice or cauli rice
  • 1 tsp parsley chopped for garnishing
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp monk fruit or sugar
  • 3 cups water


  • Heat the olive oil in a medium pot over medium heat.
  • Add ground turkey/beef and cook until browned, breaking into smaller pieces.
  • Add the onion, garlic and ginger and cook for 3 minutes
  • Add the tomatoes and let cook for 5 minutes or until tomatoes become soft.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and continue stirring. Add water then cover the pot and simmer for 15-20 min. Remove and serve
