Sautéed Cabbage Recipe
A simple, full-of-flavour, tasty, low-carb, sauteed cabbage that's easy to make and pairs well with most dishes

- 5 cups cabbage cored and sliced into thin strips (about 1/2 medium cabbage). Can use coleslaw mix
- 2 medium carrots shredded
- 1/2 medium onion chopped
- 1 tsp garlic minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional.
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp chicken bouillon
- salt and pepper to taste if not using bouillon
Add butter and oil to the skillet over medium heat.
Add onion and saute until it starts to brown then add garlic
Sautee for 1 minute keeping in mind not to burn the garlic. Add cabbage then sautee for about 3 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and serve.
