Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium chicken thighs
  • 1/8 cup dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar or sweetener
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Add everything except the sesame seeds to a bowl and mix well to combine. For an extra layer of flavour, you can marinate the chicken in teriyaki sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Once ready, preheat your oven to 375 degrees and bake the chicken skin side up for 20 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking.
  • Remove and sprinkle the sesame seeds over the chicken and bake for another 10 minutes.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
