  • 1 oz cream cheese at room temperature
  • ½ cup shredded cheese
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 bacon slices cooked and crumbled

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the broiler to high. Place the jalapeño halves on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Mix the cream cheese, shredded cheese, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Stir until well combined.
  • Fill each pepper evenly with cheese mixture. Broil for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the peppers start to crisp and brown around the edges.
  • Remove and sprinkle with the bacon crumbles. Allow it to cool for 2 to 4 minutes before serving warm.
