This easy broccolini recipe is a simple yet flavorful side dish made with tender broccolini sautéed in oil, garlic, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. It’s a quick and healthy addition to any meal, perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions. Ready in less than 15 minutes!
Bring a medium pot of water to a boil and season with salt. Add the broccolini, and cook for 1 minute. Remove the broccolini and immediately plunge into the bowl of cold water. When the broccolini is completely cool, drain well.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the broccolini to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the broccolini is bright green and crisp-tender.
Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the broccolini and toss to coat evenly.
Transfer the broccolini to a serving platter and garnish with extra lemon wedges if you wish. Serve hot and enjoy!
