Easy Broccolini Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb broccolini trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 medium lemon juiced

Instructions
 

  • Fill a large bowl with cold water and set aside.
  • Bring a medium pot of water to a boil and season with salt. Add the broccolini, and cook for 1 minute. Remove the broccolini and immediately plunge into the bowl of cold water. When the broccolini is completely cool, drain well.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the broccolini to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the broccolini is bright green and crisp-tender.
  • Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the broccolini and toss to coat evenly.
  • Transfer the broccolini to a serving platter and garnish with extra lemon wedges if you wish. Serve hot and enjoy!
