Enjoy this delicious, healthy, sweet quick weeknight meal that will be ready to go in less than 30 minutes. Seasoned, seared tuna steak over cooked down pineapple sauce. Delicious with a side of coconut jasmine rice

Directions

Step 1
In a medium bowl, place the tuna steak then add the pineapple and lemon juice. Cover and let sit for 10-15 min flipping halfway
Step 2
Place the sauce ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth or you can roughly blend to your preference. Transfer to a pot and cook for 3-5 min
Step 3
Heat skillet over high heat and drizzle with the olive oil.
Step 4
Place the steak in the skillet and cook for 1 minute
Step 5
Flip then cook for an additional 2-3 min for a rare (118 degrees) or 125 degrees for medium rare. Drizzle lemon juice and remove from heat.
Step 6
Let rest for 5 min

Note's

Do not skip the last part. The lemon juice takes it to a whole new level.

You can serve with broccoli, sautéed zucchini, carrots or lettuce for more vegetables

You can substitute the white jasmine rice for brown for a healthier version.

Reduce pineapple to 1/2 cup to reduce sweetness
