Ingredients:

  • 2.5 cups mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 tbsp baking powder
  • 1.5 cups almond flour
  • 2 tbsp whey protein powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a donut pan or line a baking sheet
  2. Place mozzarella and cream cheese in a large bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, mix together then microwave for another minute.
  3. In another bowl, mix the almond flour, baking powder and whey protein and mix well. Crack in the eggs and mix until well incorporated.
  4. Pour in the melted cheese and mix with a hand mixer to form a dough-like texture
  5. Divide the dough evenly into 6 balls and arrange onto a donut pan. If you don’t have a donut pan, you can lightly oil your hand well with olive oil and divide the dough into 6 portions, shape the portions into balls squeeze your finger in the middle then gently spread them out
  6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper 
  7. Bake in the oven for about 18 minutes or until golden brown
